We are not lawyers, we do not offer legal advice, but we are all too familiar in the completion of forms and documents. They often overwhelm people and we frequently see legal costs escalate because clients need to lean on lawyers for additional support for what is essentially an administrative task.

We are fully versed in the administrative tasks of being legal assistants, having over 30 years combined experience. We are fully versed in the administrative tasks of being legal assistants, having over 30 years combined experience. We have the knowledge to complete documents in the format required by the court and, although you will need to approve every document produced as this will be your evidence, we can put documents into a format that will be accepted by the court or other parties. Thus shortcutting the toing and froing that often occurs when documents are incomplete or have not been produced in the correct format.

We believe in a client-focused approach. We aim to provide a cost effective solution to producing court documents, without the legal advice, to enable you to move forward with your case either in person or with the assistance of a lawyer.

We believe in a client-focused approach. We aim to provide a cost effective solution to producing court documents, without the legal advice, to enable you to move forward with your case either in person or with the assistance of a lawyer.
As we have such a long history in the family law sector we have built up a network of trusted third parties to whom we can refer you to include lawyers, experts (pensions).

Being involved in family proceedings is stressful at the best of times. But what adds to the stress are the costs associated with seeking legal advice and assistance in order to help guide you in making the best decisions possible for you to be able to move on to the next chapter of your life.

Legal advice is incredibly important when dealing with family law proceedings, the expertise a lawyer can offer to you is invaluable and should never be underestimated. However we believe that you should protect your precious funds and spend them on legal costs at a time that suits you and when you most need it. This will be different for everyone. Sure, it is important that the completion of any court paperwork is correct and accurate but it is not essential that it is completed by a lawyer. Lots of people act in person at the outset of their case, battling with the paperwork themselves to save funds for more important things in life! After all, you want to come out the other end with something to show for it right?

This is where the Family Law Buddy can help, as we offer a cost effective fixed fee solution* to help you complete paperwork, collate documentation and submit this either to your former partner/their solicitor, or to the court. Our services are a fraction of the cost of a lawyer, because you are not paying for legal advice, you are paying us to be an administrative service who has the knowledge base to tackle these daunting tasks.
* We aim to offer fixed fees for most of our services however there may be times where this is not possible for example printing and postage.
We can be contacted by email or by phone. We are a friendly team who will be happy to discuss your situation and how we can assist you. Give us a call and see how we can help! Remember, you will not receive legal advice from us, you will only receive expert administrative support to help you navigate the choppy waters (i.e. paperwork!) of family law proceedings.
If we feel you need specialist legal advice, we will tell you – we will not waste your time.
